Totally out of date.

This hasn't been updated for months. I blame Angbert myself, the bone idle twat.

Boooooooooooooooooooo

Newcastle United 3 - 1 Peterborough

Championship pace-setters Newcastle continued their charge back to the top flight with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Peterborough.

Chris Hughton's side won the game thanks to first goals for the club from Jonas Gutierrez and Danny Simpson, with Andy Carroll heading home in between.

Posh pulled back a late consolation with 11 minutes to go through Dean Keates but it was too little, too late for Darren Ferguson's side.

Under-fire Newcastle owner Mike Ashley was subjected to angry protests both before and during the game - one banner read "Not wanted@St James' Park" - but Hughton's players ensured the supporters had something positive to shout about with a rousing performance.

It was a day of firsts for the Magpies as, along with Gutierrez and Simpson's goals, it was the first game since Ashley re-named the ground the sportsdirect.com@St James' Park Stadium and Hughton's first home game as permanent manager.

Mesmerising run

Gutierrez was denied a seventh-minute opener after a mesmerising run into the box when his shot was blocked by defender Ryan Bennett but he did not have to wait long to make his mark.

With 15 minutes gone, the Argentinean international set out from half way before cutting inside from the left wing and carving his way through the blue shirts then firing right-footed past keeper Joe Lewis.

Newcastle were 2-0 up within three minutes when Carroll guided Danny Guthrie's corner beyond Lewis with a deft near-post header.

Kevin Nolan fired over from 20 yards as Posh struggled to keep the home side at bay but Newcastle were dealt a blow when Gutierrez limped off after only 21 minutes to be replaced by Ryan Taylor.

Guthrie fired against the foot of the far post with 28 minutes gone but, as the visitors finally responded, the Magpies became sloppy in possession.

Beaten

However, Lewis was beaten for the third time seven minutes after the break when full-back Simpson cut inside from the right and curled a left-foot shot into the top corner.

Steve Harper had to make his first real save of the game from George Boyd's 57th-minute shot and was stretched further by substitute Aaron Mclean's effort seconds later, and he excelled himself once again to block Craig Mackail-Smith's 62nd-minute shot from point-blank range.

However, in the meantime, Lewis had had to deny first Nolan and then Marlon Harewood in quick succession, and he later had to keep out a Jose Enrique piledriver as the home side went for the kill.

Keates struck from close range with 79 minutes gone but there was no way back for Posh.

Sheffield United  0  Newcastle  1

Newcastle returned to the top of the Championship with a battling display at Bramall Lane but United's saviour was 'keeper Steve Harper who pulled off three late saves to secure the three points.

Ryan Taylor's 54th minute strike, that flew in via a heavy deflection, proved to be the vital moment in a game of few clear chances but deep into added time, Harper's instinctive stop to deny Darius Henderson was just as crucial.

A full-blooded, and at times niggly, encounter got off to a rapid start and Henderson should have done better but screwed his effort wide of Harper's upright after springing the offside trap.

At the other end Andy Carroll had three attempts blocked and then Taylor volleyed a tame effort at the 'keeper after Kevin Nolan had picked him out from the right.

Keith Treacy fired over the bar for the Blades and Carroll went close with a header as he and Chris Morgan tussled for the ball.

Morgan, Carroll and Taylor were all booked by card-happy referee Kevin Friend while at the other end Henderson and Fabricio Coloccini were both lucky to get away with petulant kicks at each other.

Having survived the first 45 minutes, Chris Hughton's side started to assert themselves and Nolan's curler almost beat Ian Bennett before Carroll hit the post with a fine header at the start of the second half.

But within minutes the deadlock was finally broken when Nolan's heavy challenge won the ball from Kyle Walker and Taylor picked up the loose ball before thumping a shot that hit Morgan and left Bennett stranded.

Jordan Stewart headed over for the home side when well placed and despite bringing on Nile Ranger and Marlon Harewood to join Carroll in a towering front three, Newcastle were under the cosh in the later stages.

Harper blocked a close range effort and then saved with his legs before superbly diverting Henderson's late header round the post with his left arm.

The win takes us two points clear of West Brom and three ahead of Cardiff and Leicester and with three of the next four games at St. James', we have a good chance to cement that top spot.

TOTT.NET BANNER SLOGAN COMPETITION

A daft competition was run on the forum on friday night, with members asked to pen a little intro to go at the top of this page. A lot of thought was put into these efforts by all members of the forum who entered (yeah right, course there was).

All the entries were then all put to a member vote (as is the usual rule). Forum member Nemo got off to a flyer gaining an incredible amount of votes early on, to the point that his lead looked untouchable. It was therefore declared that he was the winner.

But no !!!

An evil web of lies and untruths was uncovered (shock horror)...The cunningly fiendish Nemo had only gone and cheated to try and claim TOTT.NET glory for himself.

Lords' little one liner was infact the true winner, so that is what you can see up there now *points*.

If for some strange reason you wish to read the other piss poor efforts then simply Click here.

NEW COMPETITIONS !!!

UK FIT BIRD IDOL FINAL -

UK Fit Bird Idol Voting Scandal !!!

Possibly one of the worst TOTT.NET competitions ever has finally drawn to a close. The whistle was blown and the votes were counted with Gilbert winning by a massive 1 vote difference in what the media has dubbed...’The Gomper final’.

Never before have two Gompers battled it out in an Idol final that gripped the nations interest. Past winners were voted out under dubious circumstances, stunning women were kicked into touch for what appears to be political voting, gompers got through that shouldn’t have and Fiddle was voted out in the early rounds....no change there then.

A truly scandalous final saw accounts created, votes placed, cheating and corruption was rife. The two finalist bitching like old women in a M & S sale exchanged insults and accusations, fortunately no one was listening but them. It all petered out in the end, as to be honest Oh Aye did really post a hideous gomper that was just simply a ridiculous choice for a final of this magnitude. We here at TOTT.NET Towers hope he will learn from this mistake and it will make him a better Idol poster in the future.

With cheating hitting an all time high, young Oh Aye thought he would use the old moral high ground apporach and issued the following post.

'It's a shocking scandal, but if it ends now it stops further cheating taking place.

At least I know I have stuck by the rules and will be defeated but proud.'

Sadly it did fuck all to change the voting.

Gilbert on the other hand simply had the following to say on the cheating allegations.

'it'll be you that cheats,  you gomper posting cunt.'

When questioned about the Final being ruined and asked who was to blame for such shoddy work, Gibert laid the blame firmly at Oh Aye's door claiming it was 'all thanks to the homosexual mackem cock nosher'

Once the competition finished and Gilbert claimed his trophy, he managed, through teary eyes, to to let the world know how he felt.

The Winners Speech

Two finals later, and after many attempts to keep me from claiming what is rightfully mine,  I have finally done it.

Firstly I would like to thank all those that voted to boot out the other gomper posting cunts..
Secondly I would like to thank my family and friends... well only some of them...thirdly I would like to thank redtube and my sock drawer !!!

And last but not least...

Voting Scandal !!! by Liam1708

Gomper

Enlgish Rose Holly Willoughby was cruelly thwarted in her attempts to become TOTT.net fitbird, following a disgraceful series of vote rigging, PM'ing and thoroughly Cuntish behaviour, an evil looking goodness knows who, Mr Ed lookalike was shown the way forward, to Round 2 of the competiton.

Round 2 beauty

One of the inner circle of the Zionist conspirators was overheard saying "we've got no chance of winning this competition with that beauty in it, lets get together and vote Liam out"
Liam who declined to comment because he wanted to keep his dignity intact said "I thought TOTT.net was a place of honesty, integrity and democracy, now I know it's just full of Cunts" Liam is of course not bitter about the scurrilous antics of some Board members and will accept defeat gracefully, except to say that Lords and Cushy can kiss his furry white ball bag for ignoring his desperate plea for help, as the voting drew to a close.

Forum member Fiddle who found out earlier today he had managed to make it to round 2 for the first time ever had these words to say...'bananas I would like to say bananas actually '
